| TWIC Enrollment Underway |
| The Transportation Worker Identification Credential Program (TWIC) is underway with some IRTA members already enrolling. TWIC is a biometric transportation security credential issued to any individual with unescorted access to secure areas of facilities or vessels. The program is facilitated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security through the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the U.S. Coast Guard.
There are several resources available to help you better understand and comply with the program. Visit the TSA Web site for more enrollment information and for the latest deployment schedule.
